Itinerary

Arrival in Rishikesh

Day 1: Arrival in Rishikesh

Reach Haridwar or Dehradun and transfer to Rishikesh. Attend Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat and prep for trekking gear. Stay in a Ganga-facing homestay or hotel.

Drive to Chopta

Day 2: Drive to Chopta

Drive via Devprayag & Rudraprayag to Chopta (2600m). Check-in to a camp or forest homestay. Optional walk to Deoria Tal. Stay in Chopta.

Trek to Tungnath & Chandrashila

Day 3: Trek to Tungnath & Chandrashila

Trek to Tungnath (3680m) and onward to Chandrashila Peak. Panoramic Himalayan views. Return to Chopta. Stay in campsite/lodge.

Drive to Sagar Village – Trek to Rudranath

Day 4: Drive to Sagar Village – Trek to Rudranath

Drive to Sagar, trek 8 km to Rudranath Temple (3600m). Pass rhododendron forests and meadows. Stay in basic trekker hut or forest guesthouse.

Rudranath to Helang via Panar

Day 5: Rudranath to Helang via Panar

Trek back to trailhead and drive to Helang Village near Joshimath. Rest or explore nearby. Stay in village homestay or Joshimath lodge.

Kalpeshwar Temple Trek

Day 6: Kalpeshwar Temple Trek

Short scenic trek to Kalpeshwar (Panch Kedar open year-round). Return drive to Joshimath. Stay in guesthouse/homestay.

Joshimath to Ransi – Trek to Gaundhar

Day 7: Joshimath to Ransi – Trek to Gaundhar

Drive to Ransi, then trek to Gaundhar (base of Madhyamaheshwar). Stay in simple guesthouse or camp with valley views.

Trek to Madhyamaheshwar

Day 8: Trek to Madhyamaheshwar

Hike 5 km uphill to Madhyamaheshwar Temple (3490m). Visit Budha Madhyamaheshwar sunset viewpoint. Stay in temple guesthouse/hut.

Return to Ransi – Drive to Gaurikund

Day 9: Return to Ransi – Drive to Gaurikund

Descend to trailhead, then drive to Gaurikund. Optional visit to Triyuginarayan Temple. Stay in basic hotel/lodge at Gaurikund.

Trek to Kedarnath

Day 10: Trek to Kedarnath

Trek 16 km to Kedarnath Temple (3583m). Optionally take pony or helicopter. Visit Bhairavnath Temple and old glacier route. Stay in GMVN guesthouse.

Descent & Drive to Badrinath

Day 11: Descent & Drive to Badrinath

Descend to Gaurikund and drive to Badrinath. Visit Badrinath Temple and Mana Village. Stay in lodge/hotel at Badrinath.

Visit Auli – Return to Rishikesh

Day 12: Visit Auli – Return to Rishikesh

Optional Auli ropeway ride. Long scenic return to Rishikesh/Haridwar. Departure or overnight stay depending on travel.
