Traverse remote Himalayan valleys from Shimla to Manali over 8 days. Hike river trails, explore ancient monasteries, camp by glacier lakes, and witness rugged high-altitude deserts.

Itinerary

Day 1: Shimla → Sangla/Chitkul
8–9 hr drive along the Sutlej. Visit Kamru Fort & Chitkul (India’s last village). Short Baspa River hike. Overnight in Sangla/Chitkul.

Day 2: Sangla → Kalpa
Drive to Kalpa (3 hr). Visit Suicide Point & Roghi Village. Mt. Kinnaur Kailash sunset views. Optional forest hike or biking. Overnight in Kalpa.

Day 3: Kalpa → Nako → Tabo
8 hr drive into Spiti. Stop at Nako Lake & ancient monastery. Descend to Tabo; visit 1,000+ yr-old Tabo Monastery & caves. Overnight in Tabo.

Day 4: Tabo → Dhankar → Pin Valley → Kaza
Visit cliff-perched Dhankar Monastery. 2–3 hr trek to Dhankar Lake. Detour to Pin Valley for wildlife spotting. Overnight in Kaza.

Day 5: Kaza → Key → Kibber → Chicham → Hikkim → Langza
Key Monastery visit. Kibber Village & ibex hikes. Chicham Bridge (Asia’s highest). Hikkim post office & Komic village. Sunset at Langza cliffs. Overnight in Kaza.

Day 6: Kaza → Chandratal
Drive via Kunzum Pass to Chandratal Lake (14,000 ft). Camp by the moon-shaped lake. Short hike around the lake. Overnight at Chandratal.

Day 7: Chandratal → Manali
Scenic drive via Atal Tunnel or Rohtang. Check-in at Manali hotel. Evening café hopping in Old Manali. Overnight in Manali.

Day 8: Departure from Manali
Breakfast & checkout. Transfer to Chandigarh/Delhi. End of adventure.
