Itinerary

Arrival in Leh (Acclimatization Day)

Day 1: Arrival in Leh (Acclimatization Day)

Arrive at Leh (3,500m), transfer to hotel, and rest to acclimatize. Short evening walk to Leh Market and sunset at Shanti Stupa. Optional: Ladakhi dinner at Tibetan Kitchen or Bon Appétit.

Hidden Monasteries & Local Culture

Day 2: Hidden Monasteries & Local Culture

Explore Alchi Monastery, Mangyu village, Saspol caves (ancient murals). Optional Ladakhi cooking class or pottery session.

Leh → Turtuk (via Nubra Valley)

Day 3: Leh → Turtuk (via Nubra Valley)

Drive over Khardung La to Nubra, onward to Turtuk (Balti culture, border post visit with permit, orchards). Stay in a local homestay.

Turtuk → Hunder (Sand Dunes Adventure)

Day 4: Turtuk → Hunder (Sand Dunes Adventure)

Return to Hunder for camel ride, ATV on sand dunes, zipline adventure. Campfire night in luxury tents.

Hunder → Sumur → Panamik

Day 5: Hunder → Sumur → Panamik

Visit Sumur village monastery, interact with monks, dip at Panamik hot springs, hike to Ensa Monastery.

Nubra → Pangong Lake (via Shyok River)

Day 6: Nubra → Pangong Lake (via Shyok River)

Scenic drive along Shyok to Pangong Lake. Sunset and stargazing at Lukung. Stay in lakeside eco-camps.

Pangong → Hanle

Day 7: Pangong → Hanle

Offbeat drive via Chushul and Tsaga La to Hanle. Visit astronomical observatory, night stargazing.

Hanle → Tso Moriri Lake

Day 8: Hanle → Tso Moriri Lake

Drive to Tso Moriri via Kyagar Tso. Visit Korzok Monastery and walk by the lake.

Tso Moriri → Leh (via Tso Kar and More Plains)

Day 9: Tso Moriri → Leh (via Tso Kar and More Plains)

Birdwatching at Tso Kar (black-necked cranes), drive through More Plains and Tanglang La. Evening at leisure in Leh.

Departure from Leh

Day 10: Departure from Leh

Depending on flight time: visit Leh Palace or Hall of Fame War Museum, last-minute shopping. Transfer to airport.
